Haley – Class of 2017

This girl came with ideas, props, AND a buddy!! I was surprised to see last-year graduate Karlee show up, and find out they’ve been best friends forever. Of course, we had to document that special relationship. Haley is also a cheerleader, avid reader and superb singer…she was even chosen to attend a select group of vocalists in Hawaii this past summer. Her beautiful long curly hair and easy smile was a photographer’s dream, and she got over her nervousness quickly–with a little encouragement from Karlee. šŸ™‚

Kale – Class of 2017

We have done so many double senior sessions this year (3 sets of twins!) that mom and I have developed a system of drawing straws to decide who we’ll work with. šŸ™‚ I have known Kale his whole life, and it was really fun to bring out his personality during the shoot. This handsome hockey player loves hunting and the outdoors. He seems to be theĀ “strong, silent type,” butĀ the sparkleĀ in his eye tells me there’s a fun-loving guy underneath!

Alec – Class of 2017

Handsome, athletic AND a great sense of style? What an awesomeĀ combination for a photographer! We have known Alec since he was little, so it was great to be asked to do his senior pictures. Also a bitĀ unbelievable that he is already graduating! We had fun reminiscing about the past, and talking about future plans. Alec loves farming, so he might stick close to home. šŸ™‚

Zach – Class of 2017

Who wouldn’t love photographing a tall, handsome, athletic redhead? But Zach is really nice, too! After visiting about his achievementsĀ (he excels in school and sports), I asked his mom how they had raised such an accomplished son without an ego! She, of course, didn’t take any credit. šŸ˜‰ I really had to smile when I asked him what water sports he participates in, and he said “everything”. I tried to get him to elaborate, but he literally meant everything…if it’s a water sport, he can do it! Mom and I enjoyed visiting about our family connection and shared Cando memories, so we had a great time!
