One harvest eve I went out to the Ahlberg farm and struck… photographer’s gold! We danced and played in the evening light and it really was as magical as it looks. Their papa was in the field busy with combining (believe me, it was not easy to get him to leave a wheat field for us!), so we captured some priceless moments with just mom and her kiddos. Little Nora was on her best non-naughty behavior since being informed that’s why there are not very many pictures of her on their walls. 😉

Precious little Maxwell… Big brother Peyton waited for you for such a long time! And what a good big brother he is – gentle, caring, helpful. He even shares his Matchbox car collection with you. 🙂 Oh, those little fingers and little toes, silky soft baby hair and warm fresh skin. Everything about Max just begs to be snuggled!
Ok, I seriously love this family.
Lane isn’t quite so sure. He’s kind of on the fence about whether he wants to be a part of it or not. Also, no one told him that it was picture day, and that was soo irritating, because he already had his day all planned.
Sorry Lane! Your fuzzy ducky hair and tear-stained smile totally melt our hearts. Truth be told, we can’t even resist the sour little grump face. So… we decided for you. You’re here to stay. 🙂
I fondly refer to Jase as “the little blond blur.” 🙂 He is one busy two-year-old (aren’t they all?), but super cute and endearing at the same time. He loved playing catch and getting chair rides so we were able to capture some great natural smiles. He also has the most earnest serious look!
If you know us at all, you know that we always LOVE it when our wedding clients bring their little ones back to us… Reconnecting is so much fun, and it always feels somewhat surreal to think of them as newlyweds, now moving on to the next stage in life. With Matt & Jess, we were in for double the fun – they outdid themselves by having twins!! Visiting us on the very day of their 1st birthday, pensive Samuel and winsome Sophia quickly wiggled their way into our hearts. 🙂
