Kevin and Valerie are another of our January 2016 weddings! We have some brave North Dakota farmers who are willing to get married in the middle of a snowstorm if need be… Valerie said they will just hop on the back of a snowmobile and get the job done regardless! These two have a history dating back to elementary school. Time and circumstance separated them for many years, but now they are reunited and so happy. 🙂

Darin and Erika are one of our January weddings for 2016. I so enjoyed getting to know them and capturing their sweet relationship! I told Erika I thought she was getting herself a “softie”and they both laughingly said Darin isn’t very romantic. I personally think the last picture proves otherwise! ♡
We love this couple. From the very depths of our hearts. Words are inadequate to describe how much it meant to photograph their wedding day.
When Cole called us many months back to ask if we were available for their upcoming wedding, there may have been a couple of shrieks of delight after we hung up the phone! Now they have already been Mr. & Mrs. for 20 whole days, so that makes 2,368 days that Jill has loved Cole.♥ We have known Jill for all of those days (and many more) and can say without a doubt that Cole is her perfect complement, her true soulmate.
The morning began at the Avant in downtown Grand Forks where Jill started her transformation from beautiful girl into beautiful bride. We were treated to gorgeous window light for the entire getting ready portion of the day, and then had a “lucky” rainstorm as soon as we were all tucked safely into the church for the ceremony. The real lucky part was that the sky dried its eyes again for outdoor pictures before the reception!
You can watch the rest of the story unfold below… Here’s to the story that’s still being written – Cole and Jill, you had the perfect start to married life, and the best is yet to come!
Lilacs & summer love. ♡
Congrats, Brandon & Teri, on your engagement – Looking forward to your fall wedding!
Jeanne and Steven’s wedding truly was one of the most unique events we have ever photographed. As Jeanne intended, the entire day felt as though we had stepped back into the late 19th century. Placed at the historical Avalon in downtown Fargo, we had our fill of lace, vintage brooches, gourmet chocolates, exquisite flowers and a to-die-for raspberry filled layer cake. Not to mention a gorgeous, glowing bride, beautiful bridesmaids, and an awfully dapper groom and groomsmen. 🙂 An intimate ceremony and formal dinner made their wedding day personal and low-stress, and a larger reception brunch the following day was the perfect way to start off life as Mr. and Mrs. Farnsworth!
