I can’t tell you how much fun I had with this adorable couple… Taylor and Steven are high school sweethearts who have stuck together through thick and thin. Actually, they’ve been dating since they were 14! I LOVE love stories… especially when they end in “happily ever after.” 🙂 We’re looking forward to a beautiful bride, handsome groom and a day filled with love and laughter at Taylor and Steven’s wedding next August!

Andy and Kaitlyn’s wedding was held near Lake Metigoshe at the absolutely most beautiful time of the year! I can’t tell you how excited we were to get a chance to photograph this event 🙂 It was extra special because the bride’s sister is a professional photographer and she suggested us for the job. We had so much fun meeting and visiting with Jennifer that we had to remind ourselves to stay on task! The details of the wedding were every bit as gorgeous as the fall surroundings. The bride looked absolutely stunning next to her handsome groom. There were a few handsome guys around–Andy has enough brothers (4 of them) to make up a wedding party! And I won’t soon forget the precious story of how Kaitlyn and Jennifer’s dad (who is no longer with them) bought Jennifer a very special wedding dress that she was able to pass down to her younger sister to wear on this day. The bride’s speech brought a lot of laughs and a few tears from the crowd, and I love how she personally thanked everyone who was involved in the wedding. Andy and Kaitlyn, may your true love grow from this day forward.  Thank you so very much.
And the bride danced to “Pretty Woman”…!
This super cute couple really made my day! I loved visiting with them and connecting with them through photography. Their style ranged from dressy/formal to camouflage/outdoorsy so it was a fun variety to work with. Brittany relates that they met at college, where she worked at the front desk and Adam continually made up excuses to come and ask her questions. We’re really glad his little plot worked, and are so looking forward to their wedding!
We loved photographing Chad & Mandy’s wedding! She has such great style, and every detail of their wedding was well planned out and beautifully done. When I asked Mandy what her wedding colors were, she said “Black, teal and bling!” Not surprisingly, the bride’s/bridesmaids’ shoes fall into the teal AND bling categories: I hear the bride’s closet is legendary…especially the shoe section 🙂  We took full advantage of Chad’s volunteer firefighter status and used the fire truck and fire station as a prop for pictures. Everything about the day went smoothly, from the getting ready (thanks to a low stress bride!), to the ceremony, to the emotional first dance.
Chad and Mandy, you have been so awesome to work with! You are such a great asset to each other as a couple and bring out the best in each other. It’s obvious that you have a lot of fun together, too! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Peterson!!
Beautiful pictures! Can’t wait to see more!
Josh and Alicia are getting married in March–we’re so excited for an early spring wedding! Alicia brought her daughter Alex along for some of the pictures, and she kept us well-entertained with her cute comments and intelligent conversation 🙂 I always like to hear a little of each couple’s love story, and this one did not disappoint! I asked Alicia how they met, and she said, “I broke up with Josh in 7th grade!” Josh doesn’t seem to remember this, but has his own funny story to tell on Alicia: he wanted to take her out for supper at a nice restaurant and propose to her. She didn’t really feel like going out so they went home instead. She asked Josh for the house key, and he said, “wouldn’t you rather have this instead?” and handed her the ring. In any case, the story has a happy ending. They are engaged, in love, and very happy together!
Beautiful work! You girls are the best! Stunning photos! I am so happy you were available to document this day for my sister. I especially love the one where Andy was giving me the “look” after Katie announced that one of the many things I taught her was that she didn’t have to do his laundry! Oops! Haha! Priceless! 🙂 Thanks again!
